“We had a wonderful stay at this Portage Lake cottage. The location is a peaceful setting with beautiful lake views, and a great backyard for relaxing. The cottage has the charm of a classic northern Michigan lake house. While it isn't a brand-new luxury home, it was comfortable, well-equipped for our stay, and had everything we needed to enjoy a week on the lake. If you're looking for a modern resort experience, this may not be the right fit—but if you appreciate the character of a traditional lake cottage in an outstanding location, you'll likely enjoy it as much as we did. The management team was responsive during our stay, and once we arrived everything went smoothly. Overall, we had a relaxing, memorable vacation.”
