“Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Communication prompt. The unit was cute and in a fun location, especially convenient for a Notre Dame game. We did run into a couple of issues, but they weren't make-or-break for us. The check-in time was 4:00 pm, but when we arrived at 4:00, the cleaner was still in the middle of cleaning the unit. Thankfully, we found a cute little bookstore around the corner that we were able to spend our time there until it was ready for us (about 30-45 mins later). Also, the walls are paper-thin, and you're able to hear *everything* next door. We also ran into an issue where the smoke detectors beeped...around 9 PM at night when we had gotten back to the unit, and we called the number given. They were prompt to answer and directed us to take the batteries out and remove the smoke detectors from the wall. That solved the problem of the continual chirping. In spite of those issues, we would stay there again.”

“The place, for the most part, satisfied my needs for my brief stay. Although a couple things did stand out. The biggest concern is how paper thin the walls are. You can hear absolutely everything others are doing, even light conversations. My first night I was unfortunately awoken by a couple from a neighboring unit who were arguing extremely loudly from about 2-4 am, which made it very difficult to sleep as I could hear every word clearly. The room itself is nicely decorated and pretty clean, tho my unit did have a strong damp smell due to what I assume was leakage from the AC unit as wet paper towels were left underneath it (host was notified/responsive). I understand that some things are outside of a host's control, but the extremely thin walls are notable.”

“I’ve stayed here a few times however unfortunately this time wasn’t as pleasant. I was in room 8 and upon arriving I noticed the front door to the building was accessible to anyone since the code no longer worked. Once I got in the room looked well maintained. The shower head was leaking when turn on so could only utilize the one set up. On my last night I came back only to realize there was no power. I put in a request for review only to find this it was scheduled maintenance with the city which im sure they were notified about. I didn’t receive the “heads up” text til an hour after the power had already been out. No time to plan or find something else in the meantime. I literally had to attempt to pack all my things in the dark and find somewhere else to stay since the power wasn’t going to be restored til 5am the next day. I requested a partial refund for this HUGE inconvenience that I have yet to hear back from on. I’ll be staying at a hotel next time.”
