“This cabin was small, but had been very thoughtfully equipped with everything you would need. The hosts had installed extra outlets to plug in your phone etc. Wifi was great. Great use of space....shelves, hooks, etc. And this cabin is on the end of a string of them so we had great privacy. View of lake was incredible.”

“Overall our stay was okay, but for the price we paid I expected much more. The biggest disappointment was the water. It had a very strong odor that made showering unpleasant. We have well water/septic system at home, so I’m familiar with it, and this was far beyond what I would consider normal. The property could really benefit from a water softener or water treatment system. The cabin itself felt extremely outdated. The walls were dirty in several places, and there was a noticeable musty, damp smell throughout the interior, mouse poop under the sink. There were definitely some highlights. The secluded private beach was absolutely beautiful and ended up being the best part of our stay—it made the trip worthwhile. The sauna was another great feature, and the location was quiet, private, and peaceful. With some updates and better attention to the water quality and cleanliness, this could be an amazing place to stay. As it stands, I just don’t feel it offered the value I expected.”
