“We traveled with a 1 and 2 year old, so that's what my review is based on. The space was great for a small family. Two pack n plays fit well in the second bedroom. The bathtub was nice and deep for soaking, but had a half glass panel, making it difficult to reach the knobs and bathe little ones. Not unmanageable, but worth mentioning. The yard was amazing for little ones-quiet and fenced in. We enjoyed grilling out and eating outside. The beach is very close, but note that there is a steep staircase to descend to get there. The private beach is very peaceful though. A wagon, umbrella, chairs, towels and a few toys were provided which saves valuable packing space. This cottage is great for families, and we will definitely stay again! Our whole family really enjoyed it.”

“All around very nice. Sad the outdoor shower didn't work. Only other thing is with high end appliances it would be great if there were some instructions on how to use them. Very high tech, but we couldn't figure them out”

“We had a mixed stay. The property was recently renovated, but the listing hadn't been updated to reflect the changes—we booked a three-bedroom and arrived to find it now has two, with a pullout couch in the living room in place of the third bedroom. The property manager was responsive when we raised it and issued a partial refund, which we appreciated. Beyond the bedroom count, there were a number of post-renovation rough edges: the outdoor shower wasn't working, no drip coffee maker ( though they did bring one out a few days in into the stay), no closets in any of the bedrooms, and a few functionality issues like bathroom doors without interior pulls. The kitchen, on the other hand, was beautifully updated and a real highlight. The location itself is great, and we'd consider staying again if the listing is updated to match the current state of the house and the loose ends get tightened up.”

“Lovely, warm and cozy cabin on Lake Michigan, with a beautiful and spacious garden. House is incredibly well stocked for all your holiday needs (games, beach gear, towels) and it's just a short walk to the private-access beach.”
