“it's always pricy to be on the water and the location was perfect for a family with younger children; all of our kids and grandkids are well versed in water safety. A house on a lake usually has beach towels, some of our family traveled from out of town and didn't bring any, so I made a trip to town and purchased extra towels. Aside from the towels, it was perfect for an active water loving family, from morning coffee to sunsets.”

“Upon arrival we noticed a bug infestation in the garage. That wasn't too bad since the house is in the woods, but it gets much worse. On the first morning of our stay, I went to the kitchen to make coffee and noticed a mouse run across the counter. Then I watched several of them run around the kitchen floor, down the hallway and basement stairs. There were also mouse droppings on the kitchen counter and in the drawers. I reported the problem, then we left and went sightseeing for the day. When we returned someone had dropped off a couple of mouse traps. There was no note, no instructions, no apology...nothing. We spent the rest of the week catching mice. We wanted to use the hot tub, but the water had a foul odor and was green and slimy. We tried running the filter but that didn't help. The toilet in the basement wouldn't work properly. I reported both of those problems but no response. Exterior shrubs are so overgrown you cannot walk up the front porch steps. We won't be back.”
