“Pure Michigan magic! This place truly has the perfect location - just minutes from Leland and an easy, scenic drive to so many of our favorite spots, including Glen Arbor and Suttons Bay. We were honestly speechless when we first walked in and saw the incredible, unobstructed view of Lake Michigan. Having direct, private beach access was such a treat, and the huge deck was equally amazing for the times we wanted to enjoy the lake views, sunsets, and fresh air without getting sandy. The location, views, and private lake access made this such a special getaway. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel like you’re on vacation, and we would absolutely love to come back!”

“The location and beach access is by far the best thing about this property. The rooms and living spaces are really cramped. Given the price and based on our experience with other rentals in the area, we expected some of the basic conveniences typically provided by an Airbnb…There was no aluminum foil or storage bags, for example, and only one dishrag, which made cleaning difficult. The property is also not particularly well-suited for young children. There is very little room for them to move around, and the stairs leading to the loft are dangerous even for adults. The backyard is mostly weeds, although we appreciated that they had been cut down in a section to provide access to the grill. Ultimately, the location is great enough to ensure the property will probably continue to command a premium rate, but in itself is not a premium experience. Unfortunately, the disconnect between price and quality has become one of the biggest drawbacks of Airbnbs and it needs to change.”
