“This house has beautiful land, very private, with pool and sauna. The beds were cozy, we loved the quilts. The decor is very interesting, a little cluttered but it was fine. The only downfall was the kitchen not having adequate pans for cooking, and dishes that were not microwaveable, so we used paper plates and purchased our own skillet. Overall it's a very spacious wonderful place. It was so large, we didn't even need to use the lower level. Thank you!”

“Thank you for hosting us, we had a great time at Ethel’s Cottage. The place is very cozy, and it’s right by a beautiful lake with a row boat, canoe, and paddles provided by the host. It’s also close to Traverse City, Empire, and Sleeping Bear Dunes, so you’re never far away from local attractions. Although cottage doesn’t have A/C, there are plenty of fans available to cool the place in the summer.”

“We had a fantastic week at your home and built many wonderful family memories together. The house decor is fascinating, and the pool was a gathering place for sure as each day of our stay was in the 90’s. The location is right in the middle of all that Traverse City has to offer, including Moomer’s Ice Cream. We will be back!”
