Very nice for a little get a way. It was about 30 miles from Mackinaw City but a beautiful drive and nice once we got there. Only concern was the tv/internet was sporadic. We should have called the after hours number but didn’t really need it until our last day when it rained. Only missed a few of the soccer teams.

The most beautiful place we ever stayed at right on the lake! Host was helpful and provided all amenities, including a kayak we took out each day! Would stay again!

First off, the photos do not do this place justice! It is absolutely beautiful here and the nature surrounding the area was big highlight. We saw a family of foxes, an eagle, ravens, and the songbirds were wonderful. I contacted them to see if we could check-in an hour early to drop-off perishables, while we didn't end up needing to get in early, they were very understanding and accommodating and gave us a heads up that the cleaner could still be there if we arrived early. It is conveniently located just 30 minutes away from the St. Ignace ferrt to Mackinac Island. Nicely secluded and you're able to get a fantastic view of the stars. I highly recommend staying here and I hope to stay here again in the future!

Highly recommend for a peaceful stay! The only downfall was that the restaurants and stores within walking distance were closed. It was almost deserted but it was a chilly week in June so maybe that’s why, I’m not sure. But Hessel Bay cabins were great! It was a good location and easy to get to Mackinac and Sault Ste. Marie.

Beautiful views and great amenities, but expect some noise due to the log and wood construction. The Highlights: Unbeatable Location: The property sits right on Lake Huron, offering incredible lakefront access. It is literally just a few steps from the house down to the water's edge. Outdoor Living: The outdoor setup is perfect for winding down. There’s a highly convenient fire pit and a great swing right near the lake. It's the absolute best spot to sit and watch the beautiful Upper Peninsula sunsets over the water. Spacious & Well-Appointed: Inside, the cabin offers a ton of spaciousness so a group never feels cramped. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prep meals, and the showstopper of the main floor is a gorgeous two-way stone fireplace that really anchors the living area. Things to Keep in Mind: Noise Travels a lot. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, especially if you have a mixed group of early risers and night owls.
