“The home appears to be managed by a property management company rather than an individual host. While that isn't necessarily a bad thing, we missed the personal, responsive, and empathetic communication that we've experienced with other Airbnb hosts. The interactions felt transactional rather than guest-focused, especially when multiple maintenance issues arose. The property itself has potential, grand beach is a beautiful neighborhood, but better maintenance and solution focused and empathic communication would have made a big difference in our stay.”

“I’ve been coming to the Michigan City/New Huffalo area for 5 or 6 years now. I much enjoy the location of this house. And the house was a good layout, comfy, just right size for our group. Kitchen was tight despite being open.”

“One important note- had to click on link outside airbnb to sign renters contract because Third Coast (host) has their own rules. The place itself was fantastic- old fashioned cottage/cabin charm. Loved front porch! Door locks little tricky but that's part of the old charm of the place. Amazing neighborhood, one block from beach! Lake visible! Host left us goodie bag with snacks, notes, card deck, etc. Very thoughtful! AC worked well when it was hot otherwise doors/windows allowed sweet fresh air too. Towels very soft. House could easily hold 8 but 6 in basement (4 bunk beds). Washer & dryer in basement was very helpful with kids and pet. Fridge was the cleaniest I've ever seen at airbnb. Having 3 bathrooms is impressive! (walkin shower upstairs master, clawfoot tub upstairs hall, very new/nice tub with regular shower in basement near laundry). Recommend hanging curtain on basement back door for privacy since outdoor camera pointed at door outside. Overall fantastic stay!”

“Great place! Super cute for a girls trip. Wish it was a little closer to new buffalo but it was fine. The TV in the hot tub room was broken when we got there. But tbh doesn’t really matter because the hot tub was AMAZING. Overall, adorable place and would 100% book again!”
