“CAUTION: Do not stay here in the summer if it is warm. There is no A/C, the cabin is not shaded, and it gets very hot if outside temps are above 75 degrees. Although fans are provided, they didn’t do much to help the inside being 80 degrees+. The loft was unusable and 90 degrees. It didn’t cool until middle of the night with all windows open and fans on. Our kids didn’t sleep well and we had to cut our stay short and pay for alternate accommodations. The host was not willing to reimburse at all. If the property was updated with a mini split, I’m sure it would be more pleasant. We did have to wash the sheets when we arrived as there was sand and hair on them. Otherwise it was clean. It is reasonably well equipped and nicely decorated to give a cabin feel. Unfortunately due to our experience and the host/owner’s limited flexibility, we can’t recommend it and wouldn’t stay at this or any of the management group’s properties again.”
