Rental Management One

Rental Management One's guest rating of 4.72 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

We had a great week at this house. There were 5 of us, 4 adults and a 3 year old. Proximity to the beach was wonderful, and our son loved having the playground just across the street and we spent many hours there.

The place was awesome! My fiance and I celebrated a joint Bach trip with our bridal parties. There were 14 of us total and it slept very comfortably. There's no central A/C, and it was a little warm on arrival, but the windows units kicked it into high gear and cooled the place down quickly. The house and garage had everything you need to have a great weekend, from cornhole boards, camp chairs, ping pong table, and a hot tub. The house itself is set back off the road far enough that you aren't always seeing cars passing by or worried too much about road noise. Behind the house is at least an acre of grassland, which was peaceful and brought about lots of wildlife (we saw a wild turkey!). Overall it was a great trip, and we'd definitely visit again.

I stayed here for a weekend with three friends and it was great. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious. And the location was excellent - very close to several cute towns with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend!

It was adequate. Not kid friendly. Should say there is no place for kids to play outside. Not enticing to use the back porch as the cushions were in the basement, beach umbrella broken and game room was not in good condition/ misrepresented.

The rental house on M22 had a beautiful family room/entertainment room. The couches were perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the lake Michigan coast and surrounding areas. The kitchen had all the utensils that you would need and nice plates, etc. The king beds were a huge bonus. A couple things that I would point out that should be corrected. A way to cool the basement would be nice for those staying down there. Also the baseboard heating vents had covers that were broken and exposed the sharp metal bits inside. This wasn't ideal for a roaming baby. Also there was no provided bath soap, conditioner, or shampoo which I found odd and I don't think I've ever encountered that in a BNB before. The roadside noise at night was also a bit of an annoyance since the property sits right on M22, so I'd recommend bringing ear plugs or a sound machine.

Cute and spacious cabin, very quiet and peaceful area. But not sure it was worth the price we paid, given a few issues we had: Bed sheets had pilling and were worn, so they felt scratchy making it hard to sleep on an otherwise comfortable bed. The bedspreads are also super heavy and there was only one actual lighter blanket in the closet. No spare bed linens, and the complimentary laundry detergent jar was empty, so if we needed to wash them, we couldn't, and then we were not able to wash our own clothes. Also note that the heat & A/C is one wall unit in the living room, so the master bedroom and loft area (which they called the second bedroom) were very stuffy and warm, so that was another factor making it hard to sleep. This part of Michigan usually does not get too hot in the summer but this was unfortunately a heat wave week, so when we arrived the whole cabin was very muggy and stuffy since guests are instructed to leave it turned off in the summer.

Good location was very accessible to Traverse City and many other areas. The layout was very good for our family. We had a problem with ants, in kitchen and bedrooms. Could use some new frying pans, (old finish on pans, difficult to cook with and clean.) Many of the towels were almost threadbare. We had to spend significant time cleaning grill, also had to sweep deck, deck furniture and entry into home through garage, housekeeping should have attended to these items.
