Vacasa in Douglas, Michigan

“My Wife and I stayed here for a long weekend trip with our pup. The unit and complex were easy to find, clean and overall pretty quiet. It’s a mix between air bnb guest and locals who live in the units. The pool was always clean. We loved the back patio being able to sit out there look into an open field and enjoy the sunset. There were several animals visitors which we loved. We saw over a dozen deer grazing in the field at sunset. And a wild turkey during the day. Overall we loved the location and unit. would love to stay again!”

“Had a great stay! Management was super responsive, and the place looked just like the pictures. The spacious living room and kitchen had more than enough room for six adults. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and it was only a 5-minute walk to a paddleboard and kayak rental spot and the downtown area with cute restaurants and shops.”

“With how close the location was to "Downtown Douglas" and never having been to this area before, I was expecting the area to be bustling. It was quiet and peaceful! I would describe the area as cute and laid-back. The place was quite large for 4 adults and 3 children. The master suite is on the second floor, not the first floor. The only negatives were that all of the window coverings barely blocked light. All of the bedrooms were quite bright when putting kids down for bed before 9:15pm or when trying to nap. The carpeting upstairs should probably be replaced fairly soon. But we would definitely return sometime!”
