“We had a wonderful time during our Michigan vacation! The house was spacious enough to fit our large group but not so big we felt disconnected. It feels very homey and you can tell it’s been loved and updated in some places. The only hiccup we had was a lack of enough hot water but Shores Vacation Rental sent someone out to check as soon as we realized the issue was there and we came up with a workable solution. We can’t wait to go back!!”

“The Master Lodge was a perfect fit for my large group as it is always hard finding a place that accommodates the needs of big numbers!! Was easy to find and if there was any issues or questions they responded quickly and were on it! The location being right on the water was absolutely beautiful and made mornings so serene. The place itself was very clean and just like the pictures . I would 100% book again it was lovely! My only few things were that the water heater broke when we were there so we all had to take ice cold showers for a day but it was fixed quickly! The WiFi was also always in and out or just barely a connection when working. Which we had some people who needed to work a little and it was hard but other than that a place like this you don’t really need WiFi!! The other thing was maintenance told us the induction stove was relatively new but more than half their pans were not compatible with an induction stove so cooking meals for such a large group was difficult!”

“I rented the house as a retreat for a group of writers, and the lapping Lake and the availability of quiet hikes were the perfect environment. The home is a bit drafty, but bang for my buck, this was a stellar place. Since this was a Fall retreat and the weather was turning cold, extra blankets would have been welcome.”

“We absolutely loved the house. We were expecting air conditioning, but once we opened the many windows and hooked up all the fans, we were all very comfortable and night and during the day. Beautiful views. Plenty of nooks and crannies to visit in. Kitchen had everything we needed. Everyone was comfortable. Would go back in a minute. The beach is down the little boardwalk to the left of the house looking out at the lake. We didn't find that until the third day.”
