“A wonderful location with a beautiful private beach that is about as accessible as it gets in SW Michigan— 20 well maintained steps from deck to sand. Beautiful views of the lake and beach from the expansive deck and from multiple bedrooms. That’s what you’re paying for here and it is absolutely worth it. The house is nice and appears recently renovated. Beds were great, water pressure and temperature was very good, kitchen worked well, etc. There are a few bumps to iron out on communication with the management company and some very minor house issues (eg no paper towels). But the biggest plus by far are the lakeside location, beautiful deck, and private beach, which are all even better than they appear in the photos. One note for families with toddlers: The deck does not have a railing around the outermost part. It’s a sheer dropoff into the dunes and bushes. Young kids would need to be watched.”

“We found our experience at your property to be very disappointing. In addition to dealing with the repeated attempts to charge our card for a $2K security deposit, we found the house to be underwhelming in many aspects especially considering the price point. The kitchen was not well equipped as originally stated. 1/4 burners did not work, the ice maker did not function, there were not even trash bags available to guests. Furthermore, the firepit was not functional, the master bedroom did not have drapes on an entire wall of windows, and the trash and recycling bins were full on arrival. While we appreciate some of these issues were addressed shortly after I raised them, it is not a good use of our time on vacation to request help with items that we are already paying for.”

“We had a great stay! Listing as described. We enjoyed having the immediate beach access and being close enough to downtown South Haven. Slept 10 of us comfortably. There was a large security deposit we learned about after reservation. It wasn’t an issue but would have liked to know beforehand. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong here. Will be back!”
