Freshwater Vacation Rentals in Cassopolis, Michigan

“We enjoyed our stay at Stone Lake. The issue with the home was there was only 2 small frying pans, no lids matched the pots- had to be very creative to cook in such a small kitchen. When we arrived there was a plumbing issue that was never really resolved as the plumber relayed that it was more extensive work. Freshwater offered to move us but it was to a place 3 hours away. We chose to stay and were compensated by Freshwater. Freshwater was very polite and responsive. Know when you rent this place it is a VERY old home. We replaced the grill and needed to purchase outdoor chairs because several of the provided chairs were broken. The view was spectacular.”

“We were disappointed with the lack of a beach or swimming area The description of this in the listing is misleading. While it says swimming is possible you would have to jump off the end of the dock into the lily pads to swim. We had 2 small children with us and in no way would this had been possible. Had we’d known what the “swim” area was like from the listing we would have looked somewhere else to stay.”
