“The house was absolutely lovely! The surrounding trees made the location feel private & quiet. The view of Lake Michigan is stunning, especially at sunset. The interior of the house is thoughtfully appointed with everything you need & the furniture is clean & comfortable. The mornings got a little chilly but the fireplace warmed the house quickly & made the house feel so cozy. We chose this location based on its proximity to Headlands International Dark Sky Park (about 10 minutes away) but we discovered that, with the lack of light pollution in the neighborhood (aside from the neighbor's security light), the beach in front of the house is perfect for viewing the stars. We spent our days tooling around Mackinaw City (about 15 minutes away), St. Ignace (about 25 minutes away, across the bridge. Bring $4 for the toll.), Mackinaw Island (you can catch a ferry in St. Ignace that takes about 35 minutes) & exploring parts of the UP. The house was the perfect soft landing after our adventures.”

“The house was clean and tidy. The road is just a dirt road and many potholes so be prepared for that. The lake is very peaceful however know it is in a neighborhood and not as secluded as the pictures may seem. Very close location for all the area has to offer”

“This place was great, it is in a very quiet peaceful area. It had everything we needed and more, the garage is setup to have fun with pool table and dart board. The rock painting supplies was a nice extra treat. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to others.”
