“We overpaid nearly $1600 for a Thursday-Sun stay and we weren’t allowed in until 4 with a 10a checkout. You would think this would be due to it being amazing - but it’s FAR FROM. First of all, this is clearly somebody’s home that they never fully moved out of because of the religious items everywhere and their personal property is in the closets and they didn’t thoughtfully appoint the property for a rental (No dish towels in the closets or downstairs bathroom from personal weird hygiene and family items in the closets). It’s just kind of odd. There’s religious items everywhere, which is very offputting for an Airbnb and it really shouldn’t be there. There are disgusting, brown stains all over the couch and pillows and when I even stripped my bed after staying in it, my pillow was so yellow I almost threw up. No one is taking care of this house and that is just the beginning. The outside was so rundown that you couldn’t use it, couldn’t use a balcony or canoe.”
