“We had a incredibly lovely stay. We had 10 people, and the house was very much large enough that we never felt crammed. The home is lovely and well stocked with all the essentials you will need. The beds are comfortable and they just seemed to be a space for everyone If you don’t mind lots of steps, the beach is lovely. It’s private and peaceful and a real gem! I think it’s important to note that you get beautiful views of the lake from inside the house but once you are outside, you really can’t see the water much due to trees and shrubs, unless you go down to the water. So if you were hoping to sit on a back deck and watch a sunset, this is not the house. But other than that, I really only have good things to say about our stay.”

“We spent a beautiful long weekend at this home for my daughters wedding. The long treelined drive welcomed us into another world of tranquility and peace. It was the perfect retreat from all the activities we had each day. We enjoyed the very spacious and comfortable accommodations. The beds and pillows were super comfortable for my picky tastes. The views, beach access and total ambience made for a very enjoyable and relaxing vibe for us and our family. We had ample parking for the 11 of us staying here coming from 5 different locations. The hosts were very responsive and early check in was not a problem. The location is very close and convenient to St. Joseph and easily accessible to all sorts of dining and beach activities. We have great memories to take with us.”

“It was a beautiful home with a lot of space and excellent views. The pool was warm and easy to use, and the beach was only a short walk away. there are a few things that if remedied could really improve the experience. The hot tub cover bracket was broken, which made it very difficult to open. The internet the whole time was spotty and dropped frequently. This was made worse by the fact that there was little to no cell service at this house (for AT&T). It's a very large house for just one router. A mesh system would help with that. We had an infant and there are two sets of stairs. There were two baby gates, but neither of them actually worked. So we had to just pile furniture in front. Lastly, the check-in time of 5 pm was the latest we've ever seen with an Airbnb. With tired/hungry kids, this was very inconvenient. We really liked the house and enjoyed the stay, but at that high cost we would hope these things would be addressed.”
