Manager Review

Miami Short Rental LLC

Miami Short Rental LLC's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The condo is really in a great location because you can walk to all the restaurants/town, as well as, to the beach. It was clean and had mostly everything we needed. The pool was great once we figured out how it all worked. The instructions they gave were for the wrong pool so that was what was very confusing. Other than that, my kids loved the pool and it was nice to have that as an option.

Let me begin by saying I am a host myself at home- and my family has been coming to this area for 70 years. This cottage is a great location and clearly a beloved family spot. I loved that and that it feels like old Lakeside. However, staying there, it feels like the family has either loaned it to you- or you’re squatting. Either of those options, though, would be free. Renting a space comes with different expectations. The house is full of their stuff and is dirty. Bluefish did send someone out to do a touch up clean- and that person came quickly-but this wasn’t like a little thing or two missed- this was like we only used plates and silverware I’d rewashed myself, most surfaces need cleaning, stained towels, random Amazon packages. I’ve never seen anything like it in a vacation rental, especially one being professionally managed- thankfully. Luckily, the beach is the beach and we still had a great time.

A great location two blocks from the most fabulous beach to spend a summer week. Bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment -could use a deep clean. Laundry room on first first floor. And large deck on back. Watch the front steps -be careful not safe especially at night. Basement is only suitable for teenagers -needs a deep clean and new furniture. Back basement bit useable really except for storage which is his it is used. We expected a cleaner home for the cost. Wouldn’t stay here again

This is a stunning property, inside and out! Views, gardens/landscaping, interior decor, etc….all very beautiful! Beds and pillows are comfortable and there are plenty of places to relax. I didn’t rate a complete 5 on everything because of issues. The AC wasn’t working when we arrived and it was very hot. But within a couple hours, technicians came and changed out the air filters which were bad. The house didn’t cool down though until the next day. Also, the freezer wasn’t working at all. We didn’t realize that until the next morning when all of our food was thawing out. So we requested service on a Tuesday morning. However, it did not get repaired until late in the day on Thursday and it was quite difficult to deal with. It also leaked water all over the floor and we had to clean it up with towels. But they only give you two laundry pods so we had to go buy some. Also, you only get two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and being at max guest capacity you will run out.

We had a group of 14 and had plenty of room to spread out. Loved the big porch, game room, and hot tub. The house has a lot of step ups/step downs which I wish they specified in the listing as we had older folks with limited mobility as well as a baby. We would have booked elsewhere had we known. The dryer was broken and there wasn’t any communication about it. There aren’t fans in every bedroom and the fan in the upstairs room is really noisy.

Place was clean and great location…but Exceptionally poor internet/online TV service, one kitchen towel and loud upstairs neighbors 3 mornings in a row with 3 kids jumping beginning at 5am each morning.

We spent more than planned for a not great place- why? with a professional rental company- and a broken sump pump the driveway and approach were 4 inches of mud- house lock was broken and 45 minutes of waiting to get in- all bluefish wanted was for us to sign a second contract which was to say that we would be out on the agreed upon checkout time??? How we were supposed to get suitcases and groceries into the place was nothing short of an aerobic workout. The coffee was not labeled and shazam- there are two kinds: one, which we didn't know there was a french press in the cupboards and two one for the Mr coffee maker- well we picked the wrong coffee canister and overflowed the coffee. Oh and the wine opener was broken as well for the "peace offering" that the management dropped off. Nice touch. Great idea Bluefish- maybe take a look at your 40 properties- the maintenance guys- they are awesome! The train directly next to the house - not mentioned- maybe adjust the price

This was probably one of the better AirBnB’s I’ve stayed at in Harbor Country. The location is great and deeded beach access was the selling point. The unit was clean and comfortable and the decor was simple yet cozy. There were a couple wonky things with the unit that could use attention like the mixture of warm and cool lighting, awkward door to the bathroom pulls outward into the main living area, the fridge door should be reversed. The audio on the TV is terrible and the ceiling lights are way too bright. They need to spray for bugs, I killed at least half a dozen. I was also disappointed that the grass was not cut, I would have used the back yard if it wasn’t so long. We found a tick in the bed our first night which we assume either one of us or our dog brought in from the tall grass. All in all it was a good stay, but AirBnBs just always feel like a ripoff. The bathroom and paper products they provided were very low quality.

The cottage had a lot of character, was cozy, and the location was great, with easy access to the beach and local attractions. Unfortunately, several issues impacted our stay. The home had a noticeable musty odor, and the overall cleanliness was below expectations. We found cobwebs, dust, dirt, and dead insects on windowsills, as well as debris under beds and furniture, including toys left behind by previous guests. The towels and linens appeared old and some had visible stains. We also felt it was necessary to rewash dishes, glasses, and utensils before using them. The most concerning issue occurred when the gas grill combusted during normal use, causing burns to my partner’s face, neck, and arm. We were told we would receive a follow-up regarding accommodations and resolution options, but never heard back. After waiting several hours, we checked out. The lack of communication and response to a serious safety concern was disappointing and left us feeling our concerns weren’t taken ser
