“This place was exactly what we needed! The house is beautiful - clearly renovated recently but still has that cool retro vibe. It's tucked way back in the woods so you feel completely private and secluded. My favorite part was having coffee on the deck each morning watching deer wander around the yard. So peaceful - no traffic noise, just birds and rustling leaves. I actually slept better than I have in months. The location is great too. Easy drive to Lake Michigan beaches and there's a cute farmers market nearby. We had an incredible dinner at Arcadia Bluffs one night (maybe 5 minutes away?) - definitely worth it for the food and views. Perfect for anyone wanting to truly disconnect. The wifi worked fine when I needed it, but honestly I barely used it. Already looking at dates to come back! Host was responsive and check-in was smooth. Highly recommend!”

“Beautiful, private and peaceful location! The home was the perfect size for our family gathering of 10. Lots of space for the kids to run and play hide and seek. The large deck was a great outdoor gathering spot. The firepit was a fun place to gather in the evening. Nice and close the Pierport beach / Lake Michigan. The only disappointment was, that although the listing stated there was air conditioning, there was not. It was very hot and humid most of our stay. I understand that mistakes happen, but we reserved months ago based on the size of the home as well as it having AC. The listing should have been reviewed for accuracy. We have been promised a partial refund for this, but have not received it yet (we just checked out yesterday). The property manager was easy to communicate with, and we appreciated that. We would return again for sure, but would take into consideration the weather / heat.”
