“No retreat. The house itself is decent and in the a safe and quiet neighborhood. We did have a number of things wrong with our stay. There's no mention of additional dog fees in the listing. We were told about that after we booking. We were not told that the refrigerator and freezer did not work. They did have a very old refrigerator in the garage that had leftover items in it and was dirty and stained. the surfaces on tables in the kitchen, microwave and stove had not been wiped down completely and were dirty. The 2nd floor was very neat and nice place to stay but the bottom floor seemed like it was in need of a professional cleaning. wet laundry in dryer. Backyard needed to be tended to. Garden overrun with weeds though the grass had been cut. Dirty dog bowls and patio furniture. Called owner and said we wanted a refund and we were leaving in the morning. Less than 1/3 cost was refunded. Whatever the situation was, this place should never have been booked in the first place”
