“Had so much fun! Our daughter had loads of fun searching for crabs shells and playing in the water. The view from the house is beautiful and the outdoor room inside the house is so peaceful at night. Upstairs rooms are adorable and perfect for children. House is older but I think that’s what it made it so cool. There’s a picture of what the house looked like years ago before the majority of the neighbors were around, very cool! The walk down to the private beach was amazing for kids as well and there was plenty do to nearby. The neighborhood is super homey and I look forward to staying there again!”

“This property has charm and I would stay again. I did have trouble finding the entrance initially but was able to call and was provided instructions to locate the correct door. This property is not ideal for people who have trouble getting around. To enter the house, you will need to walk uphill without a smooth walkway. We arrived at night in the pouring rain so it was not ideal to get our bags inside. That being said, the view is phenomenal and the place is was otherwise as expected. We had no issues with the beds being uncomfortable. The host was very responsive and understanding when our rental car did not start and we needed to stay on the property longer to wait for a tow truck. Great location. Stores and restaurants are close by.”

“Our stay was exactly what I was looking for: an old cottage, right on the water’s edge, with water views from multiple rooms, outside space to sit for quiet sitting, a sunporch with a comfy couch to lie on all day with a good book . A/C in all rooms, TV in each bedroom and living room and sun porch. Although you must bring your own linens, they provided adequate starter amounts for all essentials. I would definitely return; however, having said all that, please read the rest of the review carefully, as this could be “3” for you. This is an old house; well maintained, but old; it has slightly slanted floors in some rooms, a narrow, steep staircase with sturdy rope bannister on one side. The kitchen is well stocked with good appliances and the bathrooms have been updated, if small. There is no separate dining room; there is a round table with 4 chairs. If you are looking for shiny, new and updated, this is not your house. For me, it was exactly what I wanted.”

“Beautiful cottage on the bay. Very nice new long deck by the water- not shown in listing. Grill worked great, house was very cool and comfortable. AC in sunroom was great. Storm doors need to be tightened up so they close easily. Beautiful views, when tide is low there is a lot of beach to walk on- bring shoes because sometimes glass washes up on shore. Queen mattress needs replacing- it sags in the middle- not an issue for us because I moved to the single bed that is in the same room- which was very comfortable. Bedroom doors catch on the doorjambs so we weren't always able to shut them without worrying the door would be damaged. All TVs have rokus and the two upstairs bedrooms have TVs/rokus. Home is located near lots of restaraunts, shops, waterpark and other things to do. Loved staying here and will definitely book again.”
