“We thought this was a great location, offering the best of both worlds. A quiet street yet there were coffee and restaurants within walking distance! The beach was even walkable if you are a bit adventurous. The host were super responsive. Chatham never disappoints!”

“We loved the house and location. Slept so well in such a peaceful place with nice beds. The only thing I would change is the backyard and patio. It’s not pretty or appealing to sit outside. The yard is mostly dirt. Furniture so so. Like the cushioned sofa and chair but an umbrella would be nice. I would consider landscaping. Otherwise, the price for the house was too high”

“We had a wonderful time visiting Chatham! The house was perfect for our family and a great location. We were a bit disappointed that the outdoor shower wasn’t working and the backyard setup was different than pictured (no deck). Owner was responsive when we had questions. Overall, wonderful visit.”

“VERY upsetting ending to our stay here. With no notice, at 7:30 AM on checkout day, 2 men were on the back deck taking pictures. Apparently did not speak english, so I called the agency and their solution was for us to leave (they would pay for breakfast) because "they could not ask the workers to leave." This was 1 1/2 hours before the regular checkout time of 9 AM and 2 1/2 hrs before our agreed upon extended checkout time of 10:00. We were not dressed or packed. When they started to chainsaw the deck-literally feet from us in the kitchen, I called the agency back (8:06 AM) but it went to voicemail. I left a message, clearly very upset, but never heard from the agency. We rushed to pack and leave because the noise/vibration from the chainsawing was so awful. To this date they have not reached out or returned my call. This was alarming, upsetting and a horrible ending to what had been a nice time. We would never book through Del Mar again if this is how they deal with tenant issues.”
