Healing Homes's guest rating in Massachusetts of 4.70 is below average and may adversely impact performance. “The location is good, and close to public transportation. The building itself is vintage and fancy. A couple of minor drawbacks: the windows couldn't be opened for fresh air, and the curtains couldn't be rolled up. Since the unit faces the street, there was also noticeable noise at night and in the morning. Overall, though, it was a pleasant stay.”

“Unit had a roof leak with a bowl on the floor to catch water. Bowl was overflowing onto carpet. Sagging ceiling and wet carpet made on room unusable. Healing Homes moved us after we alerted them of the situation.”

“Healing Homes is doing a WONDERFUL humanitarian service but appears to not be able to keep their unit up to a top tier level AirBnB. If this is acceptable to you plus the noise at night and lack of an elevator going to the fourth floor, this unit is in a GREAT location!”

“Gorgeous place! Love the space although the 5 o’clock check in gave me no time in the actual place with a 11 am check out. I wish it was earlier but great location! If you are disabled make sure you know it’s a 4th floor walk up with no elevator:) otherwise super great”

“The purpose of our trip was to see a Red Sox game, but due to the extreme nor’easter storm it got canceled. We did not buy any travel insurance, but he hoped Healing Homes would work with us to help us reschedule with them or get a refund. They did not. They only offered a very small refund if we canceled and if someone re-booked the unit they would refund us on the difference of rates. They also only offered us a reschedule within 30 days. That did not work for us because the baseball season ended soon. Because of the weather we were forced inside more than we preferred. The WiFi was awful. Even after resetting it numerous times. We could not get the radiator to work and we asked for help. The instructions we were given did not work after numerous attempts.”
