Healing Homes's guest rating of 4.70 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Incredible rooftop views and very comfortable beds. Historic building was cool but a couple of areas could use some maintenance and it would have been nice to provide a package of coffee and some upgraded towels for the price.”airbnb

“This location (south side commercial area on Comm Ave in middle Kenmore Square) is a grittier area and not a refined Back Bay scene alluded to in the posting. Great for Red Sox games and after parties with good lower end restaurants below open until 2am. The flat is large, 2nd flr, no elevator (broke), 1 BR, nice central air & two window AC units (why?). Nice kitchen w/new appliances but poorly stocked: old pots/pans/dishes, mixed utensils, no salt/pepper, 1 dish towel, 1 roll paper towels, 2 trash bags, no storage containers/bags. Apartment is nice but w/signs of normal wear/tear. Given cool comms tone on check in I was worried about blame - be safe & take lots of “before” pictures. For 2 people, the flat only had 2 towels, 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, & 1 set of linens for 8 day stay - they did quickly supply more when asked and quickly replaced a broken lamp and burned out bulbs (light above stove needs replacing). Overall good but Back Bay priced (high) for Kenmore Square (lower).”airbnb

“Overall pleasant but had some drawbacks. The location is fantastic, with easy walking distance to Mass General through lovely parks and a great shopping street. The photos were accurate, which was a plus. However, the bedrooms had a no view, though they were a good size. One significant issue was the generator noise coming from a lorry parked outside for the entire stay, which was quite bothersome. Additionally, I faced challenges with the check-in process. I requested the door codes more than an hour before check-in since I was flying in from England, and my dad needed to get into the apartment first, as he was going into the hospital early the next day. They reassured me that he could call for the codes on the day, but no one answered the phone, forcing him to wait two hours for me to land to get the codes. Not ideal considering he was having open-heart surgery the next day. Also the apartment smelt of damp and entrance down a dingy back alley. If you message them - expect AI”airbnb

“This apartment is in a fantastic location in Boston, a short walk from great restaurants and the beautiful Boston Common. The convenience of the neighborhood really stands out, making it easy to explore the city on foot. I gave 3 stars because while the apartment was clean, the rooms were quite small. All the beds were pushed against the wall, so you have to crawl in and out, which is especially inconvenient if you’re staying with a partner. One of the bedside lights and outlets wasn’t working, and all the mattresses were sinking in the middle. The bathrooms also lacked shelves or stands for toiletries, so I moved a nightstand in just to have a surface to use. It’s an older unit, and a fresh coat of paint plus basic maintenance would noticeably improve comfort. Overall, the premium price didn’t match my expectations, aside from the excellent location.”airbnb

“Overall we had a good experience. It's only three of us staying in this fairly large space, so it's not bad. However, a couple of issues: 1. Very very little basics. There's no extra of anything. Not even filters for the coffee maker. For the price, this is below expectations. 2. There's only one bath towel, one hand towel for each of us, for a four-day stay. No extra in the place at all. We requested more, and was promised to have them delivered the next day. But nobody came. After I raised the issue again, someone finally delivered on the third day of our four day stay.”airbnb

“What began as a routine maintenance issue turned into one of the strangest customer-service experiences I’ve had in years. We were told someone would be repairing the water heater, but after that point communication appeared to be handed off to an automated response system that repeatedly insisted it was “a human being” while completely failing to engage with the actual problem. Every message had the same glossy customer-service tone combined with the comprehension level of a malfunctioning airport kiosk. Simple questions about repair status were met with circular reassurances, vague apologies, and recycled filler text suggesting nobody was actually reading the messages. This property markets itself toward recovery-oriented and medical stays, which made the experience especially concerning. Things break. What matters is responsive human oversight when they do. That did not happen here in any remotely responsible manner.”airbnb

“Wonderful, clean spot in a great location! Communication and instructions were great as well. A definite negative though was that there was no hot water for our whole stay and nobody available to come and check it out.”airbnb

“Great place located in the heart of North End, Boston. Loved the location. Was taken back by the Elevator Not Working. Sucked walking 5 bags up to the 7th floor. Other than that had a great night there.”airbnb

“Apartment shabby, bath chipped, sink cracked, black plastic stuck on the wall to cover broken tiles. No extractor fan in bathroom. Towel rail broken so no where to hang a towel. photos taken of same. Old malfunctioning Venetian blinds in living room The message from the host about the unreliable lift was a major cause of concern. There was an out of date maintenance record displayed in the lift. ? There was a Message from the Host disclaiming liability in the event the lift doesn’t function. The option of a narrow winding staircase is not a safe option if you’re carrying a heavy suitcase. Sleep disturbance on 2 of my 3 nights, due to noisy revellers returning to the unmanned, adjoining carpark. There was a row on the Saturday night at 1.30am. Sockets for TV not working. Filter coffee machine not working, so I wasted my coffee. Surely a modern functional coffee maker could be provided. ? Very disappointed . Apartment needs an upgrade. I couldn’t recommend the Apartment for reasons abo”airbnb

“The bed is extremely uncomfortable. The water in the bathroom barely comes out.”airbnb
