“Great location! Walk to bayside beach within 5 minutes. House was clean but a bit worn. Lots of great porches & pretty big yard! We enjoyed the fact that we could bring our dog along!”

“The home was spacious, clean inside, and in a great location, but I will never rent through Del Mar again. Be sure to read their contract immediately after booking. It contains extremely strict rules and fees that aren’t obvious upfront. We weren’t told about the 3-car limit until the day before check-in despite ample driveway space and received repeated reminders about the 8-person limit and a $500 fee per violation. Charging $90/night for two dogs in a “dog-friendly” home added over $800 in fees. The worst part was the outdoor space: spider webs, mold, an overgrown yard, and dirty furniture that we cleaned ourselves. The basement game room was unusable due to mold and disrepair and the “no refunds” policy for home condition is a red flag. With a 9 a.m. checkout and no flexibility, the price, fees, and policies simply don’t match the property’s condition. There are much better rentals with fairer policies.”

“Location was amazing, this was a beach condo. It could use a couple of things that would improve the overall quality. Repair screens in living room. They had holes so we got bugs if we opened the windows. We had ants which was a bit of a problem. We could use another chair at the table (only 3 chairs) in dining table. The hair dryer was full of dust. The cost of the unit was high. You would have thought it would be better quality. That said “ location was perfect “”

“Loved the property. The neighborhood was beautiful and walkable to the beach around the corner. The rooftop deck and outdoor shower were some of our favorite amenities. I would say some of the ceiling fans are low in the house which is something to be aware of if you are well over 6 feet tall.”
