“We think the guest experience isn’t a priority for management”

“This is one of those places where you get what you pay for. We had trouble with our door codes from the beginning. None of them worked, and had to be changed on the spot, as well as another time during our stay. That said, it was very easy to get ahold of someone to help, and it was taken care of very, very quickly. The room, and it is just a room, is very small. Smaller than most hotel rooms. We spent most of our time out in the city, but if you're looking for a place that's comfortable to lounge at, this isn't it. There also is no parking available on site. The nearest public parking is about 3 blocks away, and there is private parking scattered around the area. Also not a huge issue for us, we ubered everywhere, however it would have been nice to know...it was an additional $110 to park our car. There are restaurants, shopping, and museums within walking distance. Overall, wouldn't book again, but would recommend if you only need a bed to sleep in. Also, there is an elevator.”

“The location of Maverick’s in Boston was perfect . The place was clean . I don’t recall stairs being mentioned. There were several narrow stairs to haul your luggage up and the other apartments could be heard through the walls . Other than these little things , the place was lovely.”

“I have never written a negative review in my life. However, I want to share honest feedback so others are aware of what they are booking. This studio was very clean, but I think the listing was misleading. It is comically small - barely any more floor space than the bed. I also was in a basement apartment with a window on the parking lot, which I did not think was possible based on the listing. It was very noisy for being in a not high traffic area, and I could hear everything from other units - even conversations. Overall if you are looking for a clean unit and less expensive than other options, it was ok. I did not appreciate that check-in required uploading your driver's license to a 3rd party website that was not secured. I asked a question about this and the property manager essentially said they were happy to cancel my reservation if I didn't like it. The day before I was to arrive. I did not think this was good service.”

“Unfortunately, this stay was very challenging. The location right on the Emerald necklace was nice, but I did not understand from other reviews the severity of the noise issue (and as someone who loves cityscape noise and travels frequently, wasn’t worried). The very small room (no desk, no full length mirror) backs up to an alley and on both nights of my stay, at 3am and 5am, an extremely loud garbage truck came and spent at least 5 minutes slamming and screeching. The host provided ear plugs, but these were not effective. I recommend bringing your own military grade equipment or planning to be out/up at those hours. Expect a cold and corporate tone from host (fees even for a one hour early check in, no luggage storage) and zero amenities beyond what is pictured.”
