“Periwinkle Cottage is special. It is pretty as a postcard, peaceful, quiet and away from the crowds. Keep in mind you will have to drive to get to restaurants, shops, etc. but that is a small price to pay for the beauty of the surroundings and the comfort of a lovely home away from home. Everything worked well - the shower is fantastic, the kitchen is great and is well stocked, bed/pillows - so comfy. It might be good to point out that the bathroom is downstairs, while the bedroom is upstairs. For those of us who need to “go” a couple times during the night, it requires a trek downstairs. That was not that big of a deal for me, but might be for some. Otherwise, expect to be comfortable and spoiled by the view.”

“Fantastic stay .. perfect little home away from home which is perfect for a couple .. small but mighty .. some people may argue not enough in this air bnb but it’s simply enough if you’re there at night as a nightly hub to explore Maine .. great view of water and sunset within your view on horizon from sitting area inside and outside .. and sun won’t beam in on you in morning when it rises .. the utilities provided are great!!! Good visit .. good view .. comfy .. clean”

“This was a nice getaway on the water. We really enjoyed the space and peacefulness of the setting. While we didn’t really cook meals here, it is a well appointed kitchen. No oven, but there was a microwave and s nice gas stove. It is a really nice place to get way from it all..you just need to plan to drive a bit for restaurants and groceries. Enjoyed movies at night in the living area downstairs.”
