Vacasa in Wells, Maine

“Great place to vacation with family and a dog! You can see the ocean from the house and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. It’s clean and has lots of beds for flexible sleeping arrangements. The enclosed porch is lovely with the windows open. FYI the house only has onsite parking for 2 cars. Some details about the area I would have found helpful if I knew beforehand: To stand over a rocky shore, you need only walk across the street. To reach crescent beach, it’s a 10 minute walk. There’s not really a sidewalk, but parts of the road have a wider shoulder and the road isn’t super busy. I saw lots of people biking and jogging and walking there too, so cars do a reasonable job of giving you enough space. Crescent beach doesn’t have any sand at high tide. At low tide though, there’s plenty of sand (though it will understandably be damp, not fluffy!). From April 1-June 15, dogs are welcome all day! From June 16-September 15 dogs are only allowed before 8am and after 6pm.”

“absolutely LOVED this place. perfect size for two people. the bathroom was spotless, along with every other room. spacious fridge, updated appliances, utensils, and plates. the couch was so comfortable and it was also a pull out. awesome scenery. pool and hot tub were clean and working. such a good location, so much to do, so much fun.”
