“Beautiful spot! The house is surrounded by a beautiful tidal river, abundant bird and aquatic life, rock ledges for relaxing by the water. Quiet and private, plenty of trails for hiking near by and easy driving distance to Waldoboro, Damariscotta, and more.”

“The night before a 5-night stay (9 PM) a Tides to Pines representative (Molly) messaged us saying our cabin was no longer available and asked us to switch locations. They offered no explanation as to why. The proposed alternative was unacceptable, so we immediately replied asking her to call us. We were ignored. We then called their main customer service line to explain that we were already six hours away from home and would be stranded by the next day. The representative promised Molly would follow up ASAP. Over the next 12 hours, we spoke to three different Tides to Pines employees. Every single one promised to contact Molly and get back to us. Not a single person ever called us back. After hours of back and forth with Airbnb customer support, they finally forced a cancellation. Airbnb reps informed us that Tides to Pines lied, claiming they had already “sorted things out” with us. No one ever reached out. I cannot overstate the shadiness of this company. Avoid at all costs.”
