“House was great and very cute! Beds were very comfortable and the firepit in the backyard was a great touch. Check in process was very easy as home in close to JR office. Note for future guests, the main house lock is older so you just need a little elbow grease to get the key in, I thought there was something stuck in there initially.. House was dusty and had several cobwebs over the kitchen lights but that is somewhat expected at a lake house cabin. Would also recommend getting a few extra skillets & baking sheets for the boat house as we were unable to find any. All things considered, would certainly stay here again!”

“I would not rent this property again. The cost for our two-night stay felt very high compared to the accommodations, which were cramped and awkwardly arranged. Linens and towels are not included but can be rented; we opted for this, but the quality and price of the rental were disappointing. The house also has many “surprise” decorations that were a bit off-putting. I would recommend including a house outline or diagram in the listing to help potential renters better understand the layout and sleeping arrangements. One of the sleeping options was a torn and worn mattress stuffed into a corner, which was very uncomfortable. On a positive note, our host was very responsive and helpful. However, overall, the property did not meet our expectations and felt overpriced for what was provided.”
