“This was our second stay at the cottage. We love it here! We have two young girls so walkability to the beach is a must. The cottage is perfect for us. So close to the beach so we are able to go back and forth as needed without worrying about carrying all the supplies at once. We will be back!”

“The Carriage House is super cute. While the kitchen is small, it is not a problem since we only prepared breakfast and lunch. A coffee maker and a full size fridge for our drinks and food, what more do we need? Two good-size bedrooms which did not feel cramped. The queen bed in the primary bedroom was comfortable. We were happy with the SmartTV which allowed us to watch our home Xfinity television programming via Airplay. Franny and Luke were very attentive and responded extremely quick to all inquiries before booking, after booking and during our stay. We have visited ocean beaches in FL, HI, NC, SC, CA, OR, NH, PEI, NB and we are of the opinion that the 7 mile sandy beach which includes Bayview Beach to be the absolute best, esp. at low tide. What a treat to walk a "few steps" from the Carriage House to this stretch of beach. Also of importance, the beach in front of rental property is not crowded like OOB or Ocean Park since it is distanced from the public access entry *****+”

A great feature that is not typically available at hotels is that we were able to access our home Xfinity account and watch all our tv programming via Airplay on the Cottage SmartTV. Of MOST IMPORTANCE to us was the excellent communication between Franny, Luke and ourselves. At all times during the process prior to booking, actual booking, confirmation of booking, and any queries we had while at the Cottage, were IMMEDIATELY answered. This is called "customer service" and attention to detail, for which we were most appreciative. There is no doubt in our mind that Franny and Luke love what they do and their top priority is to ensure that guests have an incredible, worry free visit. They clearly achieved this goal of making sure that we did not have to worry about anything other than was the sun shining to enjoy the best beach in Maine*****+”

“The stay was great, the location, property and beach access were amazing. It was easy to find and the parking was accessible. The bathroom was much smaller than we anticipated and was very cramped to use especially the shower. Although it was clearly stated in the listing, it was difficult not having laundry access. The price was reasonable given the access to the ocean and the location. We had an unforgettable time and were glad we stayed there!”
