Tides to Pines in Phippsburg, Maine

“Stayed here for a week. The $848/night price is definitely not worth it. There were stains on the couches, bath mats, etc. You can see into the neighbors’ windows and the noise was an issue. There is 1 shower for the house and no bathroom on the floor containing the master bedroom. The spiral staircase is steep. A Vacasa management company communicating solely via AI was pretty much useless at all points, except when alerted that they’d failed to provide needed supplies (detergent). The Vacasa rules said we’d only get 2 rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, etc. and would need to supply our own if we went over that. Everything was cheap and pretty thoughtless. For that price, I’d hope they’d give us at least a few extra rolls of paper towels.”

“My group had a nice time at this waterfront house in Phippsburg, Maine. It was a great location for kayaking on the water. I would recommend this place for families and groups looking to spend time on the Maine coast. The place itself had great views of the water, with a nice dock to launch our kayaks off from. The bedrooms were nice, kitchen was great, bathrooms were clean, and the "penthouse bedroom" had the best view of all! You can tell the house is cared for and well maintained. Tides To Pines is a great local, Maine host who went above and beyond to make this trip special for my family of four and our two friends who came along on the trip with us. I would highly recommend them, and I will look at them first when planning future trips to Maine with my family.”
