“We booked a Wells, Maine cottage in Feb, paying on Feb 27 and June 3. We got confirmation emails days before arrival. Yet, when we went to check in, someone else was already living in our cottage. I called the agency. The first woman was dismissive and passed me to a second lady who was incredibly unpleasant. She claimed my room was canceled because "payment didn’t go through." I told her I had Airbnb receipts and emailed them immediately. Instead of apologizing for their double-booking, she kept insisting I had to help her get her money from Airbnb. I told her I paid in full and that was between her and the platform. She became nasty and threatened our lodging, snapping, “I don’t need to give you that cottage.” I didn't respond. She finally gave us an alternative cottage, but the door code didn't work, forcing us to hunt down a physical key. She showed zero remorse for making a bad situation worse. The cottage itself was acceptable, but the management company is appalling. Avoid.”

“Great house for a family to stay at. We have a two kids under 5 and the amount of things for them to do and places to sleep were terrific. I have stayed a few places and this one was as advertised and a great location to explore southern Maine from.”
