The space was very clean and organized inside and the fire pit and patio down by the lake were perfect for reading and s’mores by the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and Tupperware and there was a grill which we used most evenings. The kids loved paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. The owners were at their place next door while we were there and they were very kind and helpful too. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Such a great stay and beautiful location. Thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful spot on the lake and serene mornings on the porch. The house had everything you needed for a few days. Will definitely be back!

The apartment was so clean, well stocked with all the necessary kitchen items. The bed was very comfortable and had both a blanket and comforter provided with extra blankets that would have been needed in the off season. We loved enjoying the lake view during our meals and while reading by the windows. The patio with the firepit is down by the lake and not directly in front of the apartment rental, and allowed us to enjoy watching the boats go by and listening to the loons. By far, our favorite part was enjoying being out on the lake with the kayaks and paddleboard. I found it confusing how to access the paddles in the shed, but they responded very promptly and clarified all of my questions. In the evening, it was a short drive to Waterville for excellent restaurants. There is a pharmacy and grocery store as well as great breakfast places and other restaurants right in the town. If you are looking for a peaceful cozy place to stay, I highly recommend this lovely apartment in Oakland!
