“We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. For the past two summers, we’ve watched this beautiful home being built while staying nearby, and every year we admired it from afar. This summer we decided to make a change from our usual stay at Inn at Ocean’s Edge, and we’re so glad we did. Having a private home gave us the perfect opportunity to host friends for dinner, and it exceeded every expectation. Each year we travel to Lincolnville to celebrate the birthday of the legendary artist Alex Katz, who has spent nearly 55 summers here. This year, as Alex celebrated his 99th birthday, we had the privilege of hosting two memorable dinners for him and his family at the house. It was everything we had hoped for and made the occasion even more special. The home is beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. I’m running out of room and still have so much more to say you will not regret booking this home.”airbnb

“We had such a great stay! Very close to all the harbor towns we wanted to visit and was great to come back from a long day to relax in such an awesome clean setting! The house is beautiful, very clean and everything is well marked which made it very easy to find things we needed. Would have been nice to have blinds in the kitchen/family room as we felt a bit uncomfortable at night but that would be the only negative comment. Overall great stay and would highly recommend!!”airbnb

“This place was amazing. The house was incredibly well kept and made for a comfortable stay close to many of the areas we wanted to explore on the Maine coast. I would definitly stay here again. The highlight was cooking s'mores near the pond at the fire pit. Thank you for hosting us.”airbnb

“This place is fantastic - well kept and obviously loved. The view, landscaping, and yard were beautiful, and the interior was more modern and well-appointed than photos show. The main floor has a bedroom, full bath, kitchen, and living room with comfy couches and incredible views. Upstairs is another bedroom, bath, and loft with a futon (not private). The basement has a third bedroom (a bit dark and basement-y), bar, large tv, and backyard access. We spent most of our time on the deck, which has comfortable seating, a large table, and grill, and used the yard fire pit every night. The only con is that I wouldn't consider this property to have water access, which was hard to tell from photos. A path leads down the yard/hill to a small cliff above the water, but the stairs down were very steep, had a suspicious lean, and were roped off. With some reassurance of safety we may have used it, but chose not to. That said, the views made up for it, and the yard itself is lovely and private.”airbnb

“We took my parents(87 and 88). They used to go to Camden in the summer and weren’t sure if they would make it up there again. My wife and I took them and we found this property. It couldn’t have been any better. The place was immaculate and had all the comforts. The view of the ocean is amazing. We didn’t even turn the tv on once. If visiting this area of Maine I highly recommend staying here!”airbnb
