“Third time renting the Mermaid House, although previous two times were in the dead of winter. Great location, walkable to beach and very private. Host very attentive and responsive. Highly recommend the house for families looking to be on the Maine coast away from the summer crowds and noise.”

“LOVED Biddeford Pool, location was great! Very quiet and peaceful. Magical place!!!!House was comfy, well appointed and cute. Loved all the tasteful small printed labels above the light switches. Grateful for those!!! Humongous primary BR. The downstairs BR/ one sink bathroom was nice but small so not an even split if you share w another couple. We did not use the two upstairs BRs which share a small bath & unconnected to the primary BR upstairs. Very minor thing but - Wish there had been an extra blanket in the house bc downstairs AC tended to blow on one person. Wonderful books and cookbooks! Kport was good to work with! Probably need to update entry instructions but we got it figured out. Would recommend! Would definitely rent again!!!! Loved it!!!”

“We had a wonderful stay! The location is great, with an easy walk to the beach and nearby areas. A true highlight was falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night, no sound machine was needed. The house felt like a true home away from home, wonderfully stocked with all the everyday essentials like toiletries and laundry supplies. The only minor drawback for us was that the beds were quite stiff and very high for the kids, but overall, it's a fantastic spot for a getaway!”
