“Fantastic place to stay. It was exactly what we were hoping for and will definitely stay there again. It had a great kitchen with everything you need (do be prepared to bring everything except basic spices to cook) and it was a short 10 minute walk into the town to the market. Proximity was incredible—10 minute drive into Dock Square and 10 minute drive to Goose Rocks Beach. The hosts were super responsive and they give you a great online resource full of information and reccs. 5*’s all around. My only complaint, and this goes for all Airbnb’s is that I don’t like and shouldn’t have to do a lot of chores at the end of my stay if there a clean-up fee. Picking up after oneself, loading the dishwasher, and taking out the trash are standard and should be done regardless but broom sweeping the house and washing beach towels is a bit excessive in my opinion. The previous guests didn’t rinse their dishes well and our first meal and drinks all tasted like dish soap!”

“I can't say enough about how much we loved this Airbnb and I hope we can return soon. The house was absolutely perfect for our extended family of 12. It was stocked with everything we needed - linens, towels, tons of beach towels, beach chairs and cabanas. They really thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible supplying kitchen essentials, laundry detergent, bathing products and much more. The house was immaculate, nicely decorated, and had comfortable beds. The biggest bonus: the location!! It was on the beach block of the most magnificent beach in Maine - Goose Rocks! The host and owner of this property were exceptional. Answered all my questions in a timely manner and arrived immediately after a rain storm caused a brown out requiring some minor adjustments to the a/c. We have been renting houses for the last 25 summers and this place was our favorite! Book it now!!”

Having bikes to use was so convenient given the crowded parking in Dock Square. The house itself and its location on the river were stunning. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s house.”

“The home was meticulous. Clean, airy and more than spacious enough for six adults and an infant. The property manager was helpful and very responsive. Everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach was fingertips away, including a fully stocked kitchen, beach and bath towels, linens, beach chairs and umbrella and more. We would definitely like to go back again next year. Well done KPort!”

“This was our second stay at Anchor House and it didn't disappoint. The house is GORGEOUS, the proximity to the beach is unmatched and the hosts are extremely responsive. The home is less than a mile from downtown shops and restaurants and on a gorgeous summer day it's an easy stroll. Would absolutely recommend the home to anyone looking to have a relaxing family vacation at the beach!”

Pictures were exactly on point, house exceeded expectations and worth paying more to stay right on the beach and loved all the details of the house, from the decor to the board games, to bikes for the family in the basement to ride, to all the yard games etc.. so much to do at the house and truly a beautiful home, very clean and especially love the handwritten note from the house/concierge. Would love to take our family back there yearly , wasn’t enough time!”
