“Solid rental home with a great view. Enjoyed having our own private oceanfront lawn that’s still within 40 minute drive of bar harbor and Acadia. Also great spot for exploring the other little towns around bar harbor! The house had all the equipment one needs to cook, but does not come with starter supplies. Notably missing was coffee filters, oil, salt, pepper. We really enjoyed our stay overall and would consider returning in the future. future guests should note the following: there was no “beach” as alluded to in the description and the water was not accessible from the lawn. there are not kayaks available for guest use . we did not have cell (ATT) service along the access road, the driveway or in the house. Travelers should be sure to download check-in info and offline maps. Instacart does deliver groceries to the house (yay!) but no food delivery apps were available. The two bedrooms have AC units that worked great, but the bunk beds don’t”

“We loved how quite this area was compared to the hustle and bustle of Acadia Park. It was nice to come "home" to this after a day of hiking with crowds and the busy town of Bar Harbor. The dogs definitely enjoyed soaking up the sun with us in the backyard as well, highly recommend if traveling with pups.”

“The view was beautiful and the house very comfortable! But unfortunately the house needs lots of maintenance and TLC. The patio and furniture was not maintained and some furniture broken. Some of the towels and pillow cases were stained. And even the bathroom sink was clogged. For the price, it definitely needs upgrades. With good TLC this house will be very nice! The company was very responsive to our doubts.”
