“Lovely house and a perfect spot on the lake for a family vacation! We look forward to returning next summer!”

“Setting, home and environment were absolutely stunning! The home was very clean. The beds and linens were high-end and extremely comfortable. The washer & dryer were such a wonderful convenience! The guests starter kits were helpful. The quiet and peaceful sounds of nature were a lift to our spirits. Just one thing would have been a help in keeping those lovely polished concrete floors like we found them upon arriving would be a broom & dustpan for our week stay. Coming in and out often to enjoy the lake& outdoors;cooking in the beautiful kitchen; all are good reasons for the convenience of a broom and dustpan. We so much appreciated having the vacuum cleaner available! The other thing we did not expect or appreciate was having people come to mow & weedwhack while we we were trying to enjoy our outside time there with family during the time we paid for.. We thought that should be arranged on the Saturday time after our checkout and before the next check in. All else, so lovely!”

“We had an amazing Fourth of July weekend at this lake house! The location right on the lake was absolutely beautiful, with phenomenal views and a gorgeous yard and outdoor space where we spent most of our time. Our dogs enjoyed it just as much as did and had the time of their lives! The house itself was also stunning and spotless. One thing to note is that the master bedroom is kind of in a loft and does not have a door, but there were privacy screens so it wasn’t an issue at all. The two kayaks and pedal boat were such a thoughtful bonus and made it easy to get out and explore the beautiful lake. While there aren’t many stores nearby, we hardly wanted to leave because the property was so enjoyable. The only minor issue was that there were no extra trash bags or paper towels so we had to make a trip to buy more, which was a bit of an inconvenience given the lack of stores nearby. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we’d absolutely stay here again!!”

“My family gathered here for my Wedding in Acadia National Park and it was perfect for 5 couples plus a child. I would highly suggest this place for large families looking to enjoy the town and National Park.”

“Very clean and spacious. Easy access to the beach, amusement park, pier, and train station. Would highly recommend, just be sure you take everything you think you might need. There was not a box of tissues, no foil or plastic wrap but located very close to Dollar General and easy to pick up those items.”

“Overall the house was really nice. In a very quiet and serene neighborhood, close to everything. A couple things about the house we would’ve appreciated knowing about beforehand: the handle on the toilet in the master bathroom made it very difficult to flush each time. There was a leak coming from the pipes downstairs in the basement near the dryer. I got pretty wet while folding clothes down there. It would have been nice to know that the ice machine in the freezer was not working prior to getting to the house. Also, a friendly suggestion might be to supply more than one towel per guest, especially if staying more than a couple days so you don’t have to be washing towels.”

“The house and location were nice but we didn't feel welcome. The price of the stay was for a luxury home but we don't feel the host treated it as such. The bathroom toiletries were hotel style (small and insufficient). Same with kitchen and laundry soaps. We purchased dishwasher and hand soap and basic kitchen supplies like tea and salt. One of the TVs wasn't setup and the audio system wasn't working. The pool had a heating fee of $200/day. The host and a repair truck showed up unannounced for a non emergency repair.”
