Tides to Pines in Bowdoinham, Maine

“Tide to Pines is a small cottage with a beautiful view, the perfect size for our family of three. It was easy to find but the drive from the main road to the cottage is poorly paved and would challenge a car with low clearance. The location is a little remote but worked well for day trips around the central coast. The place was very clean and comfortable (especially the beds!), and has a well-appointed kitchen. Unfortunately, we experienced major issues with water pressure. The shower barely worked for two days. By the second day, we had lost water pressure in the sinks too. Everyone we interacted with was unfailingly polite and responsive but we wish they had sent a plumber, rather than a maintenance person, on the first day so that the situation could have been resolved sooner. Once the plumber found the clog and fixed the problem, the shower was great. The mgmt. team was very apologetic and compensated us for our trouble.”

“This is a beautiful spot with great views by the water. We enjoyed watching the family of eagles across the point. The house is beautifully done, well appointed, and very clean. We would definitely stay here again!”
