“The house is in a quiet neighborhood close to the water literally in the woods. The overall location is great because you are close to walks, the town and the water. The house is spacious if you also use the downstairs family room. This room does not have a lot of furniture. If you travel with kids, this is probably a great playroom. Ask the rental agency how to turn on the heating. They are very helpful. The upstairs hallway connecting the two bedrooms has very creaky floorboards. If you are a light sleeper, this could be a problem. Overall, this is a great place to relax and explore.”

“We were blown away! A perfect house for a peaceful Maine vacation. The loop walk around the neighborhood was enough to have me dreaming of coming back. The house was in a great location. Close to all amenities, but tucked away so you had your own peace and privacy. Clean home, comfortable beds. We came during a heat wave 90+ degrees, and even with no air conditioning, the basement stayed cool and comfortable. My husband was thrilled!! We definitely will be returning, our 4 year old loved staying here! And the host is absolutely a gem! Very responsive and accomodating!”
