Vacasa in Bath, Maine

“We came to Maine as a family to attend a wedding and enjoy some of downtown Bath. Other than the wedding, we never left the house. It felt like home. The size and space allowed my 8 family members to spread out, lounge and just enjoy each other’s company. It is a beautiful house.”

“A spacious, comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. It is also an easy drive to Bath and area beaches.”

“I wish I could post pictures. The house and yard look abandoned from the outside: yard was tall weeds and dead grass, dead plants at the front door, front gutter full and falling apart, hose strewn across the walkway for someone to trip over. We walked inside and were overcome by a moldy smell that was pervasive throughout the house. We couldn’t open many windows to air it out because screens were missing. A pair of socks so dirty and nasty that they were rock hard were left on the floor by the front door. Neither of the showers drained, despite us making sure there was no hair in them, so we were standing in filthy water. Amenities that were supposed to be included, like shampoo and soap, were not. The washing machine was full of black mold and hair. The kitchen garbage can was filthy and stunk. The outside garbage can was full when we arrived. Several days into our stay, the keyless entry stopped working and couldn’t be reset. Mattresses were awful and noisy. Awful stay.”

“This was an absolutely great place for us to stay. We had a lot of people so the 5 bedrooms plus 2 enormous living room areas with giant couches, suited us perfectly. and its located centrally to everything in the area you want to do.”
