“This is a truly beautiful location that is tucked away in the woods. It's down a long gravel drive (you need a car with high clearance!) with only one other home on the road, so there is no traffic. If you want to feel secluded in nature, this is a great place! The views from the porch and grotto are fabulous. The cabin has everything you need for a comfy and peaceful stay. I would definitely consider renting it again.”

“This place was perfect. We had stayed at some surrounding places, but this place was the best. We were looking for comfort, coziness, privacy, and best of all it, it was within walking distance of Muir Valley. The kitchen was well stocked. There was a large refrigerator so it made a week visit easy to store food. We cooked generally every night and it was very comfortable for everyone. Everything was clean. The hot tub was hot. Nice flatscreen TV with good sound system. Internet worked very well. There was plenty of space. Will definitely return to this place. A++”

“Hemlocks Over Muir was a perfect location for our climbing trip to The Red. It is walking distance to Muir Valley, with access from the property. Surrounding climbing areas are only a short drive away. The cabin itself is very private & secluded, which we loved too. It is well equipped & cozy with comfy settee & bed. The hot tub was great to use after a long day climbing. We were visited by deer a few times, which was lovely & added to the charm. We hope to return.”
