“The cabin in general was great just needs to be taken care of better. The location was great close to restaurants, coffee, and hikes. The cabin felt cozy and a good place in general. The issues we ran into was that it hadn’t seemed like it was taken care of - upon arrival one of the stairs was broken leading up to the cabin, trash on the front porch which was never picked up, and then we were visited by a mouse friend. Which I know being in the woods you can’t help but it became more of an issue because we were noticing mouse droppings around the house. The host was kind and we had no issues there so we wish it was a better experience with the maintenance and cleanliness.”

“My best friend and I were finally able to get a weekend scheduled together and couldn't have picked a better place. This cottage was so cute and the location was very peaceful. Easy drive to all our activities, and actually felt good to unplug and enjoy life. I would definitely stay here again!”

“Private and peaceful. The setting nestled by a rock wall was stunning. The kids loved to explore it. Indoors was stunningly beautiful with wood features and felt cozy. My teens loved the top floor and remember it fondly. Wifi was faster than what we are used to. Plenty of kitchen accessories. Exceeded expectations.”

“Map said the property was in downtown Beattyville which it wasn’t. Check in was 25 minutes away from the map location then the actual property location was 15 minutes from the check in. Upon checkout had to return the key to the check in location to check out. Very inconvenient check in and check out. Misleading map location when booking as well. Actual booking location was over 25 minutes away from map location.”
