Scenic Cabin Rentals

“Our group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed Mountain Jubilee. The cabin was very clean and having a bathroom off every bedroom was a big plus. It was exactly like the pictures. Enjoyed the privacy and outer decks. Would be nice to have more seating on the lower deck. Location was close to food and attractions. Only negative was we Reached out to host to report some condensation on kitchen ceiling by phone and through ABNB messaging and never got a response. Also had a question before I booked the trip and no response. Hopefully if there was a major issue someone would get back with you.”

“We enjoyed our stay overall. The property is beautiful and located in a very quiet, private area, which made for a relaxing getaway. The home offers all of the amenities listed and had everything we needed during our stay. The only issue we encountered was cleanliness. While the house appeared generally tidy, it could benefit from a deeper cleaning. There was a noticeable amount of dust, and when we turned on one of the ceiling fans, dust fell onto the bed. Addressing this would make the experience even better for future guests. Overall, it’s a lovely place in a peaceful location, and with a little extra attention to cleaning, it would be excellent.”

“We enjoyed our stay. It is a wonderful cabin in a beautiful location. However be prepared to bring your own toilette paper and towels. I would say that staying here is a lovely experience, just not a luxury experience.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Diamond in the Red. The location was private and everything was as advertised. Our only complaint was slow to no response from the host during a water outage situation. We would stay here again.”

“Pictures show tub is whirlpool tub but has been changed out. Lights for microwave doesn't work. Pans had grease in them had to clean before using. Need to add some pans in kitchen only have very large ones. Sometimes the little things make people to want to come back.”

“Map said the property was in downtown Beattyville which it wasn’t. Check in was 25 minutes away from the map location then the actual property location was 15 minutes from the check in. Upon checkout had to return the key to the check in location to check out. Very inconvenient check in and check out. Misleading map location when booking as well. Actual booking location was over 25 minutes away from map location.”

“We had a mixed stay at the cabin. On the positive side, the location is beautiful, very remote, quiet, and offered the tranquility we were looking for. However, there were a few significant drawbacks. The water had a very strong sulfur smell, which forced us to buy our own bottled water for the duration of the trip. Additionally, for the price point, the amenities felt a bit sparse; we were only provided the bare minimum of towels and pillows. It's a lovely spot, but it could definitely use some improvements in guest comfort.”

“Do not arrive at night. It was hard to find in the daylight & took not one, but 2 people out there familiar with the mountain to get us to the right place. Once there, the visit was 100% everything we hoped it would be!”

“The cabin was absolutely perfect. One of the cleanest Airbnb's I've ever stayed at. The cabin was decorated so nice and not cluttered. The beds were comfortable, the laundry was a nice bonus. The back light did not work, and it could really use some outside lighting (perhaps just some string lights would be great). The steps off the deck to the fire pit are a bit unstable. We used the fire pit and area every night to relax, and would've enjoyed it much more with more lighting so we could be safe walking out there. Nancy never answered any of my questions. 1 question prior to booking and 2 while arriving- as there were contradicting directions to enter the cabin. I was contacted by the office at 7 or 8pm that evening- after it was all figured out on our own.”

“Overall stay was great, just a few issues with the address and actually locating the cabin. It is not as secluded as you are led to believe either but it’s still in a beautiful area. I brought up a few issues and solutions to the host but it seems that I was ignored and haven’t heard back. Very neat cabin though.”
