“Wonderful place!!”

“Very dirty, and smelly. Bugs and dirt in windows. Stains on bed, no sheets and pillowcases.”

“pros: very beautiful area, peaceful, secluded, bedding was clean, everything needed to cook meals, all around wasn't a bad place to stay. no electric and being able to disconnect from the outside world for a bit was nice. cons: upon arrival the gate to the driveway was locked, reached out to host, they responded immediately stating that the code for the gate and the code for the door were the same, we tried the code multiple times and it didn't work. We had to remain parked outside the gate for the entirety of our stay, the walk to the cabin was roughly 1/4 mile and we had to carry all of our belongings. The smell in the cabin was unbearable due to a dead mouse behind a little locked door that we didn't have access to, but previous poor communication kept us from reaching out to the host. The trails aren't very maintained and the "creek" is nothing more than a tiny stream with barely any water. The water from the outdoor shower was brown and smelly so bring extra water.”

“We enjoyed our stay: very peaceful and private. Great family retreat. We will be booking this stay again! Felt right at home. Only downfall was the outhouse which had not been cleaned in over a year according to sticker inside. Otherwise it was a great stay and exactly what we were looking for!”

“Exactly the private, secluded vacation I was hoping for. It *is* as rustic and off the grid as they describe, but if you come prepared, it's a great place to unwind. I was there during a week it rained a LOT, but I was able to stay dry and comfortable the whole trip!”
