Sleepover in Wichita, Kansas

“You get what you pay for, which isn’t much. No microwave or cleaning supplies. I stayed for a week. They tried to charge me with things I didn’t do. I’ve stayed at many places and this was at the bottom.”

“Although there weren’t MAJOR issues.. I’d have to say that this wasn’t my favorite AirBnB experience. Overall the location and complex was 3/5. It was a little hard to locate the unit at first and I’m not a fan of seeing dog poo everywhere. I heard a lot of noise from neighbors throughout the night and a strong smell of marijuana at check in really wasn’t that pleasant. I appreciate that the host offered to come and clean. I wish there would’ve been more clean kitchen supplies. The bathroom wasn’t as clean and I would’ve liked it to be. The toilet plus finding hair in tub. The host was friendly and responsive. The decor was nice! Bed was decently comfortable! Just needs a few improvements and would be a great stay for traveling professionals.”

“I was unable to stay at this horrible property, me and my wife were threatened with violence immediately upon arrival, there was open drug sales clearly happening in the parking lot in front of the unit. we then let the host know at this point we were not comfortable to stay for 11 days and they said we’re sorry that’s not our problem and there is no refund if you decide not to stay. also if you write a poor review for this issue we will open a case against you with Airbnb for retaliation, “have a great stay” So they stole $1,300 from me and I’m still fighting to get something back.. this host also has other properties with similar experiences,, I think this host and cohosts should not be allowed to host on Airbnb if they are consistently hosting slum properties.. an Airbnb shouldn’t allow a no refund policy for hosts like this.”

“I was disappointed. My 1st morning workmen entered without even knocking. The kitchen was incomplete: no glasses or basic spices or cutting board. I had to request shampoo and hand soap. When I requested some glasses I was told to use the mugs ( of which there were 3). The place is old and falling apart…the dishwasher isn’t secured, the bathroom exhaust fan is very loud and unpleasant. No washer/dryer as listed. And finally, trash outside apartment doors and dog poop everywhere!”
