“Day five the air conditioning went out. Day seven the dishwasher stopped working. Saw one cockroach in the kitchen during our stay. Airbnb had to step in to get a partial refund for the air conditioning. Mattresses were super soft. They were inflexible when I tried to shorten my stay so Airbnb had to step in on that as well. Neighbors did not adhere to the quiet hours and played music all weekend. Someone stole a portable air conditioning unit from beside our door. Rates started out low but increased over time.”
