“The home was roomy, thoughtfully decorated, and easily accessible. In a very good walkable location. The kitchen is stocked well but lacked basics needed for cooking like seasonings, oil, etc, which would have been nice. The host was a bit slow to respond to messages but the pre-scheduled messaging had most information you need.”

“Host is asking us to pay to replace a brand new bunk bed because a larger teenager broke it by sitting on it. We understand a replacement may be necessary, but are being asked to pay for a full replacement or a used bed that was assembled incorrectly.”

“Stayed here for our bachelorette trip and it was in an ideal and safe location. However, the response time was not timely and the owner didn’t answer questions I had. Instructions were not left on where to park so we weren’t sure if we were allowed to park on the gravel drive or the street. Some of the furniture in the living room/kitchen was a little unsturdy as well. Overall this house was a nice place to stay just needed to fine tune some details.”

“We had to finish booking through a third-party site, unaware third-party bookings aren’t allowed. This meant signing an extra contract and holding a security deposit not part of our original booking. Cleanliness was a real problem: we found urine stains in the bathroom on arrival and cleaned it ourselves. When we told the host, Monica, she declined a discount since we hadn’t taken photos, and only offered a cleaner mid-stay, which would’ve disrupted our trip rather than fixed the issue on arrival. We also found hairs throughout the house and numerous spiders inside and on the back deck, which was unkempt and covered in spiderwebs. On the plus side, the location was great and very walkable to the beach. Overall the stay was fine, but take photos of everything the moment you arrive in case issues need to be documented.”
